Hitachi Launches Affordable, Feature-Rich Projector

LAS VEGAS, http://www.hitachi.us/, June 11, 2001 - Hitachi America, Ltd. a subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd., Tokyo, Japan (NYSE:HIT), today unveiled the most recent member of its portable LCD projector family, the CP-S310W. Priced at under $6,500, the CP-S310W provides a low-cost solution for educational purposes or for the increasing amount of budget conscious businesses, while providing all of the fundamental features needed for a high-quality presentation. The CP-S310W is bright and relatively compact, delivering 1,600 lumens from the lightweight, seven-pound projector. This model is one of three new Hitachi projectors being unveiled and demonstrated at INFOCOMM 2001 along side Hitachi's entire family of multimedia projectors at Booth #6065 at the Sands Convention Center, June 13 - 15, 2001.

With its SVGA resolution, the full-featured CP-S310W is a logical choice for use with data and computer graphics presentations. In addition, the CP-S310W has a contrast ratio of 300:1, further enhancing the picture and providing the user with a clean, crisp presentation.
Hitachi's CP-S310W also provides numerous connectivity options with two RGB inputs along with composite and S-Video inputs and one RGB output. Other features for the CP-S310W include manual zoom and focus, digital keystone correction and two speakers.
