Hitachi PJMessenger v1.4

Hitachi PJ Messenger Software

Hitachi’s PJMessenger (Projector Messenger Tool) allows you to take control and display real-time text messages on your projector screen*.

These text messages can be shown as a scrolling message (i.e., ‘scrawl’) across the bottom of your screen (just like the TV news), or directly in the middle of the screen for more urgent messages.

*PJMessenger is supported by specific Hitachi projector models only. These models must have a feature known as ‘Messenger’ embedded in the unit.

Models that include the Messenger feature include CP-X2010N / CP-X2510N / CP-3010N. Please refer to your specific model to check for this feature.

Hitachi's LiveViewer application allows a user to capture and project images from their PC and display over a Wired / Wireless LAN (802.11b/g/n) on their Hitachi Network Projector.

PJMan v7.17 (Projector Management Application)

Hitachi’s Projector Management Software (PJMan) provides you to ability to control, diagnose & manage an individual or group of Hitachi projectors.

PJMan’s advanced e-mail, reporting and scheduling capabilities help you to make the most of your investment.

Search, sort and view projector data via specific criteria.

Group and sub-group to suite your individual needs and preferences.

Features Include:

  • Monitoring an individual or multiple sets of projectors
  • Diagnosing an individual or multiple sets of projectors
  • Controlling an individual or multiple sets of projectors
  • Grouping and Sub-Grouping capabilities
  • Generation of e-mail’s for routine maintenance and reactive situations

PJCtrl v4.12 (Projector Control Software)

Projector Control Software

Hitachi’s Projector Control Application (‘PJCtrl’) allows a user to control the functions of their Hitachi Projector via a ‘Toolbar’ on their desktop or laptop PC.

Since all of the functions for controlling the projector are on the PC, PJCtrl can help to reduce costs associated with lost remote controls, battery replacement, etc…

Hitachi’s Projector Control Application:

  • Can control up to five of the same Hitachi Model Projectors at the same time
  • Can be customized to suit the user’s individual preferences & needs
  • Has an Advanced Control menu that is ideal for installation, maintenance, etc…

PJCtrl can control Hitachi Projectors via:

PJImg (Projector Image Tool) v3.2

Projector Image Tool

Hitachi’s Software Application, ‘PJImg’ (Projector Image Tool) allows you to transfer images across a LAN to your ‘MyImage’ enabled Hitachi Network Projector*.

The image is then stored in the projector and is displayed using the ‘My Image’ feature of your Hitachi Network Projector. The projector can store up to four separate ‘My Image’ images that can be recalled / displayed using the projector’s remote control, embedded html pages, Hitachi’s PJCtrl application or Hitachi’s PJMan application.

‘My Image’ is great for:

  • sending your presentation images ahead to the projector (so you can leave your computer behind)
  • sending morning announcements to rooms on campus
  • sending important notifications or emergency instructions

* ‘My Image’ also known as ‘e-Shot’ on some models

PJTransfer (Projector File Transfer Tool) v1.07

Projector File Transfer Tool

Hitachi’s Software Application, ‘PJTransfer’ (Projector File Transfer Tool) allows you to transfer files across your LAN to an external or embedded memory device for playback with your MIU enabled Hitachi LCD Projector*.

Files are transferred and then stored in either:

  • A USB storage device connected to the USB port of your Hitachi LCD Projector
  • An SD Memory Card inserted in the SD Card slot of your Hitachi LCD Projector

You can also assign up to 4 files as ‘e-SHOT’ images that can be displayed @ your command, either locally at the projector or remotely using one of Hitachi's Projector Tools Software applications.

Current Hitachi models supported include: CP-X268A, CP-X608, CPX2
